| It’s hard enough to get your emails read, so ask your company to make two changes if these apply. 1) Ask them to change or give you permission to change how your name displays in emails. 95% of wholesalers appear to the recipient as last name, first name and sometimes even middle initial. It screams wholesaler/corporate/cold. 2) If they currently send blast company emails on your behalf where it displays your name, ask them to stop. On the surface it seems like a good idea, but it’s not. Your relationships aren’t actually “unsubscribing”, but they are “emotionally unsubscribing” now that emails coming from you are probably a cold mass blast, which means they may miss real emails from you. If the blast email is of value, they will open it, even if it comes from the company. If it’s not of value…well, that’s a different training. |
