The concept of a Gold Club or Million Dollar Producer Club drives advisors to do business using two known aspects of human behavior. 1) People like to be a part of something 2) People don’t like to miss out It’s a pretty simple concept to drive revenue…not a game changer, but it helps. You determine what qualifies for the club (e.g. 1M in biz last year) and you invite a few advisors to dinner who qualify as both a thank you, but also a chance to mastermind with other good advisors (this dinner can be done in multiple parts of your territory). After you have a few of these small dinners, you make sure to refer to your “club” during advisor meetings. When they ask what it is you simply explain that for guys who hit a certain mark, you host mastermind dinners once or twice a year to expose them to good ideas and find out what works for others. Don’t make it too formal, don’t give prizes or commit to any schedule…it is just something you do that you want advisors to want to be a part of.. |
