“He Who Works All Day, Has No Time to Make Money”– John D. Rockefeller This famous quote by John D. Rockefeller can be translated to wholesaling as “He Who Meets with Advisors All Day, Has No Time to Make Money” You can increase your hits by getting more “at bats”… but only up to a certain point. The big upside in wholesaling is getting more hits by increasing your batting average… That is, getting paid more per meeting. If you’re focused too heavily on meeting counts, you won’t have time to: 1) Become more valuable to advisors 2) Make sure you are meeting with the right advisors 3) Get better at getting in the door with better advisors 4) Follow up properly 5) Become more effective at in meeting messaging and clarifying conversations 6) Planning your weeks and days so you’re not being reactive all the time 7) Creating and improving valuable “one to many” meetings And I could add about a hundred more things.. so… 1) Identify Your Pillars 2) Mold Your Calendar with Pro Time to Execute on Your Pillars and Work “on” Your Business 3) Spend Your Non-Pro Time Engaging with Advisors |
